Camryn is now 4 months old! We've really noticed a difference in her this month. She's defnitely outgrown that clingy infant stage and is now a happy, more independent baby. She loves to play in her exersaucer and is now grabbing and batting at toys, shaking her rattles, etc. I can now put her down in her pack-n-play, or on the floor, and as long as there are toys, she's happy for about 30 min, which has allowed me the ability to clean, cook, etc. without having to hold her. She rolls all over the place and can even sit unassisted for a couple of minutes. She also loves standing up and seeing the world. She also now belly laughs, which is pretty hysterical!
Camryn also had her 4 month check up and got 3 shots and an oral vaccine, and was not a happy camper! But, we were given the green light to start solids. Her pediatrician said to skip cereal since she's already getting it in her bottle for reflux. We are going to start with green veggies first (peas and green beans), then yellow veggies (squash), then orange veggies (carrots, sweet potato). This way, she's introduced to the yucky things first. We will wait to start fruits until 6 months, so she has a solid 2 months of eating and liking vegetables.
Weight: 17lbs 4oz (>95 percentile)
Length: 26 inches (>95 percentile)
Eating: 6oz every 3-4 hours
Clothing size: some 3-6 months, 6m, and some 6-9 months
Diapers size: size 2 (Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive)
Sleeping: last bottle around 8:00pm, bedtime at 8:30pm, sleeps until about 7:30am

Happy Halloween!!
Today was Camryn's 1st Halloween! We really didn't do much - we carved a pumpkin (well, Matt did that) just dressed her up in her Tinkerbell costume, took a few pictures, and then ordered pizza and watched a movie! Boy has life changed with a baby! I don't think I've ever sat home on Halloween! We did have a handful of trick-or-treaters, so that was fun!

More picture fun!
Here are a few pictures of Camryn, sitting up like a big girl! It was the first cold front of the season, so it was nice to dress her up in her pants and hat!

First day back at work...
Like all good things, maternity leave had to come to an end. Ugghhhh, so after 13 wonderful weeks off with my baby girl, I went back to work today and Camryn started her full day of daycare. I had taken her on Thursday and Friday for a couple of hours so she could get to know her teachers and the room and so I could set up her crib. To make her feel more at home, I bought a crib toy that has flashing lights (which she loves) and a mirror, but more importantly, a feature that allows me to record my voice, hehe. I also slept with her sheets and blankets so she would have my smell. Maybe I'm going overboard, who knows, but whatever makes me feel a little bit better. The day went by somewhat fast since I was soooo busy - I saw 41 patients today! And it was the best feeling in the world to pick her up and get a great big smile!
Here is a picture of her this morning on our way to daycare:

Mommy-and-Me classes
Camryn and I enjoy our weekly Mommy-and-Me classes at the Mailman Institute at Nova Southeastern University. We have fun signing songs, playing games, and looking at the other babies. Each class, we have "lessons" that deal with each of the 5 senses. Last week our "touch" lesson was laying in a bowl of cotton. Camryn loved it! Here are some pictures from the class:
